Thanks to my friend Karene H. I was able to see the Mets vs. the Marlins for FREE!!!! It really doesn't get better than free. Oh except that it was slightly raining and the seats happened to be in complete cover, which means I didn't need to bust out my Yankees umbrella and watch my back. The home game was played at what is now CitiField but what I will always refer to as Shea Stadium.

Although the stadium is beautiful and the Mets put up a good fight (even if they did lose 13-4), I've learned that when in New York, I'm a Yankees girl. ;)
