Xander is THREE and FOUR months!!!

So Karley and Xander went on vacation for about a month which means I missed him turning 3 months. :(

Xander just turned 4 months, but I missed my Un-Birthday Auntie Night because Karley got sick. :(

I'll be making up for it in December. :)

Xander is awesome. He's such a happy baby now. He's over the colic and only fusses when he needs something (or has just been shot in the arm with a needle) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his coo-ing and smiling. The CHEEKS! Oh, the CHEEKS! Those 3 things right there are my favorite things about him for the past 2 months combined. When he smiles I worry that his cheeks are going to pop off! When he coo's he doesn't just let out a little sound and then stop, he tells me a whole story. Full disclosure. I can't get enough.

Karley is one of the best Mom's I've ever seen, and by far the best First Time Mom. She's a natural. She takes everything in stride. She doesn't let herself get weighed down by guilt or never ending stress or second guessing. She just does what she needs to do, enjoys the good moments, laughs through the bad, and always has a smile on her face even if she's exhausted and just wants to crash and burn. I love her. She has become one of my best friends and I am SO thankful to have her and her wonderful family in my life!

Three Months (visiting Mom's side of the family in Washington)

Mommy & Xander on the day of his Baby Blessing. I think he looks like Karley SO much. The eyes and smile. Do you see it?

Blessed

SUPER FAMILY!

Four Months! (Back in NYC!)

Here's a little blurb from Karley about Xander's 3rd month of life.....

The month of October was probably Xander's most exciting yet! He and I flew to Washington where we visited so many friends and family. After we left the Seattle area, I rented a car and Xander and I drove to every corner of the beautiful Washington State. Xander was able to meet lifetime friends of mine, his Grandma and Grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins from my side... and was even able to meet his younger cousin Kole, who was born a few days before we left. Xander flew for the first time, hung out in downtown Seattle, saw Mt. Rainer, pet horses, rode tractors, drove all over Washington, cheered at Aunt Marci's volleyball games, ate cake at his cousin Olivia's birthday, was cuddled and kissed by all his relatives and friends, witnessed apple harvest season, went to his Uncle Todd's wedding reception, received his baby blessing, and my personal favorite- learned how to sleep 10 hours straight every night :) Lets just say life is a little different in Washington, but he and I both loved every second (except we missed Dad). Due to his tight work schedule, Al was only able to fly in for the last couple days of our visit to be apart of the baby blessing and wedding reception and then brought us back home to NYC. We got back just in time for Halloween and Xander told me he wanted to have two costumes ;) So during the day Xander was a puppy, and then that night we all magically turned into superheroes. October was a wonderful month :)
