But first....a CELEBRATION!
Therefor, the Grad Party was also a bittersweet Farewell.
(In 25yrs, she has never lived outside her hometown. BIG move.)
Her Mom went ALL OUT.
She put together the most extravagant spread you can possibly imagine: Steak, Salmon, 3 different pasta dishes, Polenta, veggies, 4 cheesecakes, 2 chocolate moose, dips, cheeses, appetizers, drinks, and much more that I can't even remember. Everything was HOME MADE over the course of two days.
Except for a lemon poppy seed cake that was custom ordered and iced simply with: "Finally". Yes, really. ;)
It was the most delicious food I've ever tasted and I happily took home leftovers to continue to eat it throughout the week.
The party was a smash hit, and numerous friends and loved ones came to congratulate Amaya and wish her well. I hardly saw her.
Good thing there are **UH-mazing** pictures to prove I was there!
Two of my Favorites!

Instead, I spent time with my extended family (on my Ex-boyfriend's side), playing ALL day with my nieces and nephew. Hide and Seek is certainly more intense in 4 inch heels! :)(Wonder-Mom of Four-& personal idol--Val, & BFF/Cousin)
